Lunch & Learn open to ALL VBR members, this is a Vail Pro Designation course that includes 2 state CE credits for Brokers. Attendees also earn 2 Vail Pro credits to apply toward earning the designation. 

Lunch served at 12:00 a.m. Presentation begins at 12:30 p.m.

Taught by Kathy Calton with Mason-McDuffie Mortgage, this class reviews the “business tax side” of the real estate agent’s world. Some brokers are very lucky and just send things off to their tax preparer/CPA (Which is great). What if you don't have that option, or just want to have a better understanding?  Kathy will review accounting processes for your business, expenses you can deduct, give basic information on the different business entity options.

Kathy is a lender with over 25 years real estate experience in the Eagle County/Vail Valley area, and also has over 20 years tax preparation experience and is licensed as an Enrolled Agent (Can represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service).
