This 3 CE course also meets the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics Training requirement for Realtors® and Appraisers (the 7th training cycle, from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2024).

VBR Realtors® and Affiliates will also earn four (4) Vail Pro Designation credits. We'll have breakfast for attendees.

Digital marketing has created an opportunity to promote not only your business as REALTORS®, but it also provides a window to ethically promote fair housing.

This course is an engaging learning experience that will help you develop strategies in digital marketing through the lens of self-examination, open communication and the intentional promotion of inclusivity, diversity and equity. Plus, complete your Ethics Training requirement!

History is the foundation that we will build upon, and everyone has an opportunity to be heard. It has been resolved that the National Association of REALTORS® will work with the National Association of Real Estate Brokers, National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, Asian Real Estate Association of America, National Association of Gay & Lesbian Real Estate Professionals, and Women's Council of REALTORS® to ensure equal housing opportunity for all, today and in the future. We will review the past while developing creative ways to ensure an equal future. 

Learning Objectives: 

After completing this program, you will be able to: 

• Summarize rules and acts governing housing
• Promote awareness about fair housing issues
• Create a list of appropriate terms to use when marketing via social media 
• List the seven federally protected classes 
• Recognize violations of fair housing rules 
• Describe local efforts to expanding housing options 
• Create a program to expand housing across racial and economic barriers

This course is designed to increase diversity and inclusion within the REALTOR® association and its leadership. Participants will learn about the importance of fair housing laws and their role in creating more equitable communities. They will also have the opportunity to engage in interactive exercises.

This class is FREE for VBR members. Members will be charged $0 when registering but will be charged a "no-show fee" of $25 for the full class amount if they do not cancel the registration prior to class.
