How should you handle a listing that has mold, radon, or a cracked foundation? Join us for Inspection & Disclosure: Handling Material Defects with John Gillam. This 3 credit class is tailored to our mountain resort community. Free for VBR Realtor members and $40 for nonmembers.

This class will teach the differences in material, latent and stigmatizing defects, how to properly disclose each, based on the relationship with the client, without advising beyond the scope of experience or committing slander / misrepresentation. It will look cover both the listing and buying side of how to identify material defects, properly disclosing, handling the inspection / bid process, including obtaining higher level inspections / bids and which CREC forms would be appropriate.

Realtors earn 3 CE for attending. Course instructor is John Gillam.

Per DORA regulations, attendees who are over 10 minutes late may not be admitted for credit.

This class is FREE for all VBR Realtor® and Appraiser members. Members will be charged $0 when registering but will be charged a "no-show fee" of $25 for the full class amount if they do not cancel the registration prior to class.
